My "white-box"" ESX host

Out of need for the ability to work on PowerShell scripts while at home. I was trying to figure out a white-box ESX setup to stick in the basement so that I could simulate prospective environments that I'd like to test. I've managed to get ESX 4.0u1 and a vCenter server running under fusion but it KILLS my MPB :( soo....

In the basement I had my old gaming system... its has:

So since I've not played COD4 in like a year... I ripped the ESX 4.0u1 iso to DVD and ran down and popped it in. Figured the RAID-0 array that I had built would not work so well due to my "fake-raid" experiences with Linux; I broke the array and presented the drives as standard SATA disks...

low and behold, ESX recognized the disks, NIC's and installed perfectly without a hitch!

my lab is up and cooking as we speak!
